Common Wire Colors
These are typical colors across recent Yamaha models. Colors can vary between model years — always verify with a multimeter.

Fuse Box
Under the seat on most models. MT series has the fuse box accessible after removing the seat. Sport bikes (R-series) may require removing a panel. Blade-type fuses throughout.
Relay Tap Points
- ✓Turn signals: CH (left) and DG (right) at the rear harness
- ✓Horn: P wire at the horn — usually near the headstock
- ✓Key switch: BR wire at the fuse box for switched 12V
- ✓Always-hot 12V: R wire at battery with inline fuse
