Fuse Box

Under the seat on most models. MT series has the fuse box accessible after removing the seat. Sport bikes (R-series) may require removing a panel. Blade-type fuses throughout.

Relay Tap Points

  • Turn signals: CH (left) and DG (right) at the rear harness
  • Horn: P wire at the horn — usually near the headstock
  • Key switch: BR wire at the fuse box for switched 12V
  • Always-hot 12V: R wire at battery with inline fuse

Notes

  • MT-07 and MT-09 have generous under-seat space
  • R-series sport bikes are tight — consider frame-mount location
  • Yamaha wire colors can vary slightly between model years — always verify with a multimeter
