Common wire colors, fuse box locations, and relay tap points for Suzuki motorcycles. Always verify with a multimeter before making connections.
Common Wire Colors
These are typical colors across recent Suzuki models. Colors can vary between model years — always verify with a multimeter.

| R/W | Battery positive (always hot) |
| O | Ignition accessory (switched) |
| G | Turn signal (varies) |

Fuse Box
Typically under the seat. GSX-R models may have a secondary fuse box near the battery. Blade-type fuses. SV650 and V-Strom have accessible fuse boxes under the seat.
Relay Tap Points
- ✓Turn signals: verify wire colors with service manual — Suzuki varies between models
- ✓Horn: LG wire at the horn assembly
- ✓Key switch: O wire at fuse box for switched 12V
- ✓Always-hot 12V: R/W wire at battery with inline fuse
Notes
- •V-Strom and SV650 are among the easiest installs due to accessible wiring
- •GSX-R sport bikes are very tight — plan mounting location carefully
- •Suzuki wire colors are less consistent between models — always verify
